1. Overview
At Sada Yuva Foundation, we strive to provide high-quality cybersecurity education and training services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds related to our workshops, events, and other paid services. Please read this policy carefully before making any payment.
2. Workshop and Event Cancellations
2.1 Cancellation by Participant
If you need to cancel your registration for a workshop or event, the following refund policy applies:
More than 15 days before
100% refund minus processing fees of ₹100 or 5% of registration fee, whichever is higher
8-15 days before
50% refund of the registration fee
Less than 7 days before
No refund will be provided
After event starts
No refund under any circumstances
2.2 Cancellation by Sada Yuva Foundation
If we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop or event due to unforeseen circumstances, insufficient registrations, instructor unavailability, or force majeure events, participants will be notified immediately. In such cases, you will have the following options:
- •Full refund (100%) of the registration fee
- •Transfer to another scheduled workshop or event of equal or lesser value
- •Credit note valid for 12 months for future programs
3. Corporate Workshop Cancellations
For corporate or customized training programs, separate cancellation terms may apply as outlined in the service agreement. Generally, the following conditions apply:
- →30+ days before: 75% refund
- →15-29 days before: 50% refund
- →Less than 15 days: No refund
- →Rescheduling: Permitted once without additional charges if requested at least 15 days in advance
4. Transfer of Registration
Participants may transfer their registration to another person for the same event, subject to the following conditions:
- •Transfer request must be submitted at least 5 days before the event
- •Complete details of the substitute participant must be provided
- •Transfer fee of ₹200 will be charged for processing
- •Only one transfer per registration is permitted
- •The substitute participant must meet all eligibility criteria for the program
5. Refund Process and Timeline
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- 1. Submit a written cancellation request via email to info@sadayuvafoundation.org
- 2. Include your full name, registration number, event details, and reason for cancellation
- 3. Attach proof of payment (receipt or transaction confirmation)
- 4. Provide bank account details for refund processing

6. Non-Refundable Items and Services
The following items and services are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- ✗Digital resources, e-books, and downloadable materials once accessed
- ✗Processing fees and payment gateway charges
- ✗Certificate issuance fees
- ✗Completed or partially completed services
- ✗Donations and voluntary contributions
- ✗Registration fees for free events (if any administrative charges were collected)
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Medical Emergencies
In case of genuine medical emergencies preventing participation, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis with appropriate documentation (medical certificate from a registered practitioner). Such requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the event.
7.2 Technical Issues
For online workshops, if technical issues on our end prevent you from attending, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend the next scheduled session at no additional cost. Technical issues on the participant's end (internet connectivity, device problems) do not qualify for refunds.
7.3 Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.) that prevent the event from taking place, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to attend a rescheduled event.
8. No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend a registered workshop or event without prior cancellation notification, it will be considered a no-show. No refunds will be provided for no-shows, and the full registration fee will be forfeited.
9. Modification of Services
Sada Yuva Foundation reserves the right to modify workshop content, schedules, instructors, or venue (including switching between online and offline formats) based on operational requirements. Such modifications do not entitle participants to refunds, unless the fundamental nature of the program changes significantly.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you have any concerns or disputes regarding cancellations or refunds, please contact us first to resolve the matter amicably. All refund decisions made by Sada Yuva Foundation are final and binding. However, you retain your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in India.
11. Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. The policy applicable at the time of your registration will govern your transaction.
